What We Collect
- Gender, age, location: You provide these when you start using the app.
- Posts: The text you write in your post.
- Messages: Responses to others' posts and DMs you send to other users.
- Device ID: A unique, random code generated on your phone. It's not linked to your identity.
What We Don't Collect
- Your name
- Your email
- Your phone number
- Your photos
- Your contacts
- Your location (GPS)
- Analytics or tracking data
- Cookies
How We Store Data
- Posts and pending messages are stored on AWS servers in Europe.
- Your message history is stored locally on your device.
- We don't have access to your local message history.
How Long We Keep Data
- A post stays until you replace it with a new post.
- Messages are deleted from our server after 2 weeks, but always stay in your local storage, unless you reset the app.
- Your device ID and profile stay until you reset the app.
How To Request/Delete Your Data
- To request a copy of all your One Post data, email issues@onepost.ink with your user ID (found in the app on the Request page). We will respond within 30 days.
- To delete your data, tap the Reset button in the settings page in the app. This deletes your post from our server and clears all local data. Your device gets a new unique ID.
Who Sees Your Data
- Your post: Anyone using the app.
- Your messages: Only the person you send them to.
- We don't sell or share data with third parties.
Age Requirement
One Post is only for users 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
Security
We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use means you accept the changes.
